Privacy Policy

This policy covers megamarketing.com.au and the services we provide through it. We are an Australian business and we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information You Give Us

There are three forms on this site, and each one collects only what it needs:

• Contact form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message.
• Blueprint form: your first name, email address and website address.
• Booking request: your first name, email address, website address, phone number, the times that suit you, and any note you add.

If you become a client, we also handle the business information you share with us during the work, including access to your advertising and analytics accounts.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you submit a form, we record the page you were on, the page that referred you, and any campaign tracking parameters in the web address, so we can tell which of our own marketing is working. We also collect standard analytics data about your visit through the tools listed below.

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

This site runs the following third party tools. They set cookies and may collect information about your visit, including your IP address, device, browser and the pages you view:

• Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, on every page, to measure how the site is used.
• Google Ads, which may use that analytics data to show you our advertising elsewhere.
• Meta pixel, on our Simple Sites page only, for the same purpose on Facebook and Instagram.
• LeadConnector chat widget, on every page except our contact page. If you use the chat, your messages are stored in our customer system.

These tools run on the live site only. They are switched off on development and preview versions of this site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on and of personalised advertising in your Google and Meta account settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you using this site.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We share it with the providers we use to run the business:

• GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), our customer relationship system, which receives every form submission and chat conversation.
• Google and Meta, for the analytics and advertising described above.
• Vercel, which hosts this site.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia. We will also disclose information where the law requires it.

Marketing Email and How to Stop It

If you give us your email address, we may send you marketing email about our services. Every marketing email we send identifies MEGA Marketing as the sender and carries an unsubscribe link that works. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing [email protected], and we will action it promptly. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop email about work we are doing for you.

How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiry records for as long as we may reasonably need them to respond to you and to meet our record keeping obligations, and client records for seven years after the engagement ends. You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with an updated effective date.
